Fees

Since the beginning of time, the financial services profession has been defined by two competing armies: the salespeople (who want to convince people to buy high cost or proprietary products to further the employer and salesperson's own bottom line) and the professional advisors (who provide impartial advice, lower cost alternatives and who are held to a higher fiduciary standard).

The salespeople are eternally trying to blur the lines between the two groups and pose as professionals, while the advisors are eternally trying to make those blurry lines clear again.

As an independent fee-only advisory firm, CMMS receives compensation from only one source — you the client. We do not sell investment products or insurance. We do not accept commissions or any other form of compensation from any third party. Our strict adherence to this compensation philosophy frees you from the potential conflicts of interest other forms of compensation can engender.
